Getting to Know Miles:

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Outside of work, I’m usually outdoors or involved in sports—golf, slow-pitch softball, and indoor soccer are my go-tos. When I’m not playing, my wife and I enjoy exploring new gluten-free restaurants, getting outside for a walk, or catching a Detroit Tigers game.

What’s one item on your bucket list?
My goal is to go to all 30 MLB stadiums. 21 down, 9 to go!

What is one interesting fact about yourself that most people don’t know?

I played baseball in college, and one summer I lived in San Diego playing in a college league. Still to this day, San Diego is my favorite place to visit.

Favorite part of being a wealth advisor:

I love seeing clients confidently spend on the things they’ve always dreamed of — experiences or goals they once hesitated to pursue because of the cost. Hearing from someone after they’ve taken that long-awaited trip or purchased their dream home, and knowing I played a small role in helping make it possible, is incredibly rewarding.

Best piece of financial advice you’ve ever received:

Compound interest is your best friend.
